MGB HIF 4 rebuilt carburetor set

Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE The carbs have been completely disassembled soaked in carb cleaner and reassembled with new needles and seats. All parts have been ultrasonically cleaned. All gaskets and seals have been replaced. The float level has been set. Piston drop test has been performed to insure proper speed and operation. The dash pots have been sanded and buffed and polished. New throttle shafts and throttle discs have been installed. New adjustment screws have been installed on the levers with springs. These carbs come with the cross linkage between the carbs and a powdercoated intake manifold. You will need a heat shield and choke plate. Plus little piece parts like springs and cable stops. These carbs will fit all years of MGB's with 1800 cc engine. You will need to recheck mixture and idle setting but other than that the set should be ready to run well. HIF4 setups have the vacuum pickup on the manifold, so you would either need to have your distributor modified for manifold vacuum or buy a manifold vacuum distributor. This set of carbs has had the rear carb modified for ported vacuum. So it could also be used on a ported vacuum distributor.
