Description: "THE COMMISSAR VANISHES / THE FALL OF ICARUS" soundtrack 2CD - music by the Michael Nyman The soundtrack 2CD set to "THE COMMISSAR VANISHES / THE FALL OF ICARUS", including Michael Nyman's musical score to the book by David King "The Commissar Vanishes: The Falsification of Photographs and Art in Stalin's Russia"(1997), a collaboration album or so-called book soundtrack inspired by the book, however the score was not original but the arragement of Nyman's score previously composed for 'The Fall of Icarus", a Peter Greenaway's installation art of the same title later in 1980s. Disc 1 contains the score "The Commissar Vanishes", disc 2 contains the score "The Fall of Icarus". The 2CD set from Virgin Records disc number 724384859121, total 10 tracks 105 minutes of music. The discs are not sealed but unused, in mint condition, the jewelcase shows some cracks on the back, as seen in the second item image, the inserts are in near mint - condition, the back insert shows very light bend beneath the jewelcase crack, also seen in the second item image.
