Description: Microclone Tissue Culture kit multiplyinging media. This is the formula used for multiplying plants in culture and for longer-term storage. The 60ml concentrate plus 4g Gelagar packet makes one liter of tissue culture rooting media, enough for over 100 TC plant starts. Media is provided as a replacement component of the $250 Microclone and Cannabis kits, also listed on eBay. Works for all plants, including philodendron and cannabis. Media is prepared by mixing ingredients together with 30 grams (2 tbs) sugar to one liter of good quality tap or RO water. pH to 5.9 and dispense into Microclone 25mm culture tubes or 120ml Flip-top culture vessels. Vessels and tubes are sterilized in a pressure cooker, Instant Pot, or in small batches in a microwave. Instructions are included in Microclone kits and videos are linked to the Microclone web site. This is the media mix we use to multiply over 100 species in our labs. It should be used with the Microclone kit and instructions, tools, and reusable vessels, however it is possible for users to gather their own parts and prepare teh media as on the label. Mixing and tissue culture videos are on the Microclone site. Tissueponics uses Rootkit media to make clean pre-rooted 2-inch minicuttings in only 3 weeks that are then planted in clean or sterile plug media to root over a few weeks. Cuttings in photos rooted in three weeks. Microclone tissue culture and Tissueponics are based on using pruned tops and small side limbs to make lots of new plants from what would be thrown out. Tissueponics is scaleable to any size production and is currently used in nurseries and grow facilities producing over 1000 clones a day.
