Caves are considered portals to the underworld. Bats are direct massagers of the spirits. Handmade terracotta. This would have been used for ceremonies. Includes carved box wood stand. Bowl is 4” tall. 6 1/4” at the widest. Bottom is 1 3/4” radius. Stand is 4 1/4 radius. 1 3/4” tall. In excellent condition. Shows patina from age and use.
