Description: This beautiful, Jaeger LeCoutre, Gruen, Atmos Cosmos clock, is a unique piece of art and time keeping genius. It is used but runs excellent and keeps perfect time. The Atmos was designed in Switzerland. Within a sealed capsule a mixture of gas expand and contract with each temperature change. Thus the mechanism winds naturally. Without any human intervention. The pendulum rotates one direction 360’ then turns the opposite way 360’. It is designed so that the inner workings can be seen from all angles of the clock. The front glass window lifts out to set time. There is a level window and screws under the clock so that it will sit nicely on any surface level. There is a lever that can be locked to insure safe and secure movement of the entire clock. The clock makes no sound or chime. It does come with its original tag. I was told the year made was between 1950-1970. It runs perfectly in great condition. Measurements 10” tall x 8 1/2” wide x 6 1/2” deep.
