Description: An oil on canvas by Gertrude Shibley(1916-2006)The painting measures 38" X 20" and it dates to the early 1950's.The painting is signed in pencil on the stretcher and titled "Brick and Stone"It comes from the estate of the artist.The painting has been in storage for 20 years and is in fair condition.There is a puncture at the top left and a 2" tear at the bottom right that have been stabilized with linen tape on the back.The painting is being sold AS IS with no returns.The painting should be conserved by a professional restorer.Please look carefully at the photos and ask any questions prior to purchase.
