This is a mini oval punch by The Punch Bunch. This punch is shown in the photo is in a vertical position. The measurements in this position are 3/8 inch tall and 1/4 inch across. That is 8mm by 6mm. This punch is open on the underside so you can position it where you want. If you do scrapbooking, quilling, punchart, or card crafting, this punch will add a lot to your art projects. This is the most often used size for punchart animal faces for use as noses or eyes. Ovals come in a variety of sizes. I carry over 350 styles, sizes, and shapes of punches in the store. The mini punches are most versatile as they can be used on their own to create flowers or designs or can be used in conjunction with other shapes or just as flower centers. The punched shapes can be used flat to create flowers for scrapbooking or can be molded slightly with a stylus to create realistic looking flowers for cards or to add as filler flowers to quilling. When molding the mini shapes it is best to use the finest point stylus or the white molding tool, such as the ones I sell in my store. The mini punches can also be used to create interesting borders when punched along the edges of cards. They are also often used as a base shape to create your sculpted flowers on, making the flowers easier to handle and add to an arrangement. These also make great Eyes and Noses for a multitude of animal projects. All the punches I sell are brand new; however I do open them and punch one or two shapes to make sure they work properly.
