Bring back the year 1992 into your life with these packs of 92 Marvel Masterpieces. No, not the new Platinum versions, but rather the ORIGINAL 32 year old card set that changed the world of non-sport trading cards forever. Did you know there's a whole book written about this set? That's right, Joe Jusko released a super nice hardcover book where he talks about doing the paintings for every single one of these cards in the space of, like, three months or something stupid like that. It's a great book, and you should buy it, but only AFTER buying these cards because, like, bro... have you seen these cards? These are some NICE cards. Anyway, I bought a box of 1992 Marvel Masterpieces on eBay in December of 2024 and quickly posted about it on r/MarvelCards and quickly found out that boxes of this set are often bricked... OH GOOD, THAT'S AWESOME. I was super worried. I've sold 93 and 94 Masterpieces before and been very lucky with the quality, but all of a sudden I was nervous about these 92s. So I waited until the weekend and then put a pack in the freezer for 45 minutes, slapped it on my table, waited for it to thaw, and then slapped it again (full instructions below) and was very happy to find that there was no damage to the cards at all. They were MILDLY stuck together, but within one second of being freed from the packaging they came apart with no damage to them at all. They were curved a little, as I've seen with other types of cards, but it's a very easy fix. Corners are SHARP on these. VERY sharp! This is my first experience with these cards, but I think I got a good batch on my hands. 1992 Fleer Marvel Masterpieces sealed packs, 30+ available, bulk discounts, ships from Texas, local pickup available in North Houston. Orders are dropped off at the post office within 24 hours of being placed and processed through the North Houston distribution center which is right near the primary airport for one of the largest cities in America, meaning packages will usually arrive quickly. Orders received before 9am Central time are shipped SAME DAY. I've opened one pack of these already to test them to ensure their quality and have had zero issues with any cards. The cards are not bricked (although I always freeze + slap before opening) and corners are sharp. Please see the images above for examples of cards that I have pulled from these packs. Packs are shipped in individual celophane packages in a 6x4x1 box with lots of packing material to keep them stable and prevent damage in transit. I will ship three packs per box, so shipping will be combined to be one box for every three packs that you order (meaning if you order four packs, it will come in two boxes, seven packs in three boxes, etc.). Packaging is almost entirely plastic-free, for reduced impact on the environment, and packs will always be shipped in strong BRAND NEW boxes, not re-used and barely holding together. The boxes are filled with NEW paper packaging to prevent movement during shipping. I ALWAYS recommend freezing and slapping old packs before opening, just to be safe, no matter how loose the cards feel inside or how strong the packaging feels, in my experience it is always best to do it properly every time. Here is my method: 1. Put pack(s) in a ziplock bag that has air in it (don't squeeze the air out of it) and put bag in freezer for at least 30 minutes, I usually do 45 minutes to an hour.2. Take packs out of the freezer, and remove them from the ziplock bag. Immediately "slap" the packs down on a clean, flat surface such as a table or countertop, ONE AT A TIME. And be VERY careful to slap the pack down FLAT against the surface. If you slam the cards down at a bad angle on a corner then you risk damaging the corners of all the cards inside. You can keep the pack in your hand as you slam down, or you can let go and let it slap against the surface by itself. The pack MIGHT bounce, so be careful. I will do two to four slaps (one or two per side) usually.3. Separate the packs and leave them out on the same clean, flat surface that you slapped them on. Wait for the packs to warm back up to room temperature (this usually takes 20 minutes or so, depending on surface they are on and its ability to transfer heat).4. Once the packs are up to room temperature, slap them again on the same clean, flat surface that you used before, following the exact same method as before. Once or twice per side, two to four slaps total.5. The packs are now ready to be opened. If you want to save the wrapper for any reason, I recommend pulling gently on the "fin" of the pack near the top, you will notice a small gap start to open between the "fin" and the two sides of the packaging. Try to slip a finger into that gap and slowly separate the front from the back. You may need to also partially pull apart the top of the "fin" in order to slide the cards out the top.
