Published by the Academic Press, Inc., it has matching copyright and publication dates of 1984, and, with the numbers 1 through 9 all present on the number line, it is presumed to be the First Edition. The book is in generally excellent and readable condition, but with ownership stickers and inscriptions on both end papers. There is very little wear to the cover, apart from those parallel fingernail scratches on the front cover (shown in the first picture).
