Description: Modern Chess Openings, Sixth Edition Completely revised by Reuben Fine and edited by R.C. Griffith and P.W. Sergeant. You may recognize the title of the book from the Netflix show, The Queen's Gambit. No dust jacket. The pebbled blue cloth boards show wear but are in generally good shape. Please see pictures. There is the usual scuffing/rubbing as well as wear to the edges and corners, as well as bumping to the corners and the head/tail of the spine. The gilt design and text is still clear on the front cover and on the spine. The paste downs, end papers, and internal pages and page ends all show toning from age. There is a gift inscription on the front end paper from a Philip to a Peter. In the back, there is some penciling on the rear end paper. There is a mild bit of soiling here and there, but in general, the pages are clean and free of marks as well as tears. Please see all pictures, as they are part of the description.
