Description: MONUMENTAL 20" ANTIQUE FRENCH FAIENCE B & CIE CREIL ET MONTEREAU CHARGER You are being offered a Huge Antique French Faience Boulenger and Company (B&Cie) Creil and Montereau Charger decorated with a Victorian Style Painting signed "K. Fuch" of a Romantic Couple in a Garden Setting; and Two Holes have been drilled through its Foot so it can be hung on a wall. The Charger was made in the Louis Boulenger owned Creil Pottery in Montereau-sur-le-Jard, France and painted by the German Artist, Karl Fuch during the Late 1890's and it has the appropriate Boulenger & Company "B & Cie / Depose / Creil et Montereau" Mark used between 1896 and 1920 on its Bottom. The Charger measures almost 19¾ inches in diameter and its Rim extends out 1¼ inches when it is hung on a Wall. There is some crazing in the Clear Glaze on its Underside and it appears an impressed and stamped mark was removed from its Bottom; otherwise, the Charger is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, without any chips, cracks, scratches or losses.
