It has been very vigorously cleaned and is fully tank ready. You will find Mopani driftwood with this much character very hard to come by. This is a hard wood and will sink readily into your tank. Just rinse and enjoy! This is natural wood and may release harmless tannins into the water. Depending on the size of your aquarium this can "tint" your aquarium water a natural light brown color. You can lessen this effect by presoaking the wood in a bucket for a couple weeks, or as long as it takes for the tannins to bleed out. With regular water changes they will eventually go away. The tannins are actually a great benefit to many soft water fish and can also help stimulate breeding.
