SO FAR 1969 ONLY SEEMS AFFECTED. WE WERE ABLE TO FLATTEN THAT AREA SOME WITH A BALL HEAD HAMMER AND GO OVER IT WITH A GRINDING STONE . IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING OR ABLE TO DO THIS THEN THIS ITEM IS NOT FOR YOU . SEE LAST FOUR PICTURES FOR BEFORE AND AFTER. Another option if this occurs is to enlarge (egg shape) the bottom mounting hole some more. Some of our customers have done this instead.
