Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This beautiful doll is an antique Morimura Brothers Character Baby Doll, which was made during the 1920s, making her approximately 100 years old at the time of this writing. She measures approximately 17 inches tall and is marked with the Morimura doll mark “MB with symbol inside a circle, Japan, 7” on the back of her neck. She has a bisque socket head with a jointed composition body with bent arms and legs, brown hair, heavy multi-stroke hand painted eyebrows, blue open and close sleep eyes, hand painted eyelashes on the bottom and top of her eyes, a little button nose, rosy cheeks, red open mouth with tongue and four teeth showing. Her bisque is in very good condition and her composition body was repainted to stabilize her. It appears as if the composition on her sides have had some repair work at some point her little life, as does her ring and pinkie fingers on her left hand, but could still use some TLC. She comes in a beautifully dainty and ornate vintage/antique christening gown adorned with lots of lace and ribbon with a matching bonnet, slip, diaper, and socks to complete her outfit.
