The these films are parts 1 and 2 of the 1965 Hong Kong martial arts / wuxia / fantasy film, MOSLEM SACRED FIRE DECREE, which starred Lam Ka-Sing, Chan Ho-Kau, Lee Hung, Connie Chan and Lee Heung-Kam. The films were directed by Siu Sang. The story of these classic black & white movies concerns two children who are orphaned and separated at a young age, and who are taken in by rival masters and trained for a death match when they are 18. .............. PLEASE NOTE: These films are in the Chinese language, with NO English subtitles or audio option. ............... The VCDs are from the official Hong Kong release of the films ... produced by Sky Entertainment. I believe they were released in the early 2000s, in very limited numbers. VCDs are Video Compact Disc -- an alternate video format to DVD -- which is widely used in a number of Asian countries. The discs used are produced on CDs, rather than DVDs, so far less information can be held on a single disc. This results in two main differences between VCDs and DVDs. First, VCDs are usually issued in two discs per film, rather than a single disc for a DVD. Second, since CDs hold far less info than DVDs, the video quality for VCDs is noticeably lower than for DVDs. The typical VCD has video quality somewhat better than a factory issued VHS tapes, but well below the clarity in DVDs.
