Let us point out the trick features that made this happen: 1. The impeller was designed to optimize the banshee’s volute area boosting flow, efficiency, and is made from 7075 T6-511 aluminum. 2. 304 stainless steel was used to make the shaft and has a reduced shank at the cooling port pass through. Specifically designed from FEA testing to maximize flow through the inlet port, reducing back pressure, and turbulence into the impeller while not compromising required strength. 3. We DLC coated the impeller shaft for extreme durability. This very hard (2500HV on the Vickers hardness tester is three times the hardness of heat-treated steel and over two times the hardness of a hard chrome coating.), self-lubricating coating ensures zero shaft wear, ultra-low seal drag, and prolonged seal life. The shaft will never wear out! NOTE* For every 1 HP added to the stock Banshee engine you are introducing 2500 BTU into the OEM cooling system. So, add 25 HP to the stock Banshees 35 HP and you introduced 62,500 BTU. That is a 40% increase in heat added that the OEM cooling system must try to remove.
