Description: This is a fully polished piece of Burmite (Burmese) amber that contains numerous, long strands of extinct club fungi from the Cretaceous Period. The fungi would have been from the genus Paleoclavaria, species burmitis and is now extinct. It that was on the Earth when dinosaurs still walked! The piece itself weighs 2.9 grams with approximate dimensions of 1.8 cm length by 1.8 cm width and 1.3 cm height. NOTE: 2.54 cm is 1 inch. Please see my feedback.
