That additional fabric is not factored into the dimensions/size of the panel.We ship via USPS Mail with tracking.It is highly recommended that you wash your fabric projects with cool or luke warm water and tumble dry on low setting or hang to dry. Use a cotton fabric piece to lay over the material if ironing is needed.
