From a regular edition 880 (plus 46 artists proofs and 2 foundry copies) including a giclee on canvas (20" x 24"), hand signed by Nano Lopez and annotated by hand with a number that matches the annotation of the sculpture. Nano calls his faunal sculptures “Nanimals.” A zoomorphic take on their earthly counterparts, Lopez integrates numbers, letters, even road signs, to enhance the fantastical creatures. Though Lopez a native Columbia’s, uses symbols and objects reminiscent of his homeland and Latin America in his art, he utilizes the ancient Greek and Roman “Lost Wax” process to cast his sculptures. This extensive method allows Lopez to achieve his complex detailing and ensure a seamless finish. There is a COA but after reviewing it I determined the gallery screwed up and I put a phone call in to them and requested new COA and appraisal, (sorry I didn't catch this sooner)g bronze sculpture and giclee on canvas beautifully framed.
