Description: This 8” x 10” color photograph is in really nice condition. Frank Borman personalized/signed this Best Wishes, To Marc. The signature is in good shape. Jim Lovell was the Commander of Apollo 13, we all know that story of heroics by all at NASA. William Anders was tragically killed recently in an aircraft crash at the age of 92 as he was still flying solo as pilot in command. What a great history he had in his career! Lots of history in this picture. The picture shows light corner bends, light crease in a few spots, and some very light discoloration. Overall, it’s very nice. Frank Frederick Borman II (March 14, 1928 – November 7, 2023) was an American United States Air Force (USAF) colonel, aeronautical engineer, NASA astronaut, test pilot, and businessman. He was the commander of Apollo 8, the first mission to fly around the Moon, and together with crewmates Jim Lovell and William Anders, became the first of 24 humans to do so, for which he was awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor.
