Description: Offered here is a very nice ANTIQUE "NATIONAL" BRAND CAST IRON SKILLET, MARKED "8b", WITH AN OUTER EDGE HEAT RING. This ANTIQUE NATIONAL SKILLET, manufactured between 1895-1914, is in very good condition with no cracks or chips, rust or pitting. The skillet sits flat with no wobble. The name "NATIONAL" is printed in large letters in an arch at the top of the skillet. The number "8b" is noted on the bottom. The only minor apology is a large "scratch" in the cooking section of the skillet (see photo). The skillet has been cleaned and seasoned. It is ready for usage or display.
