Description: I bought this years ago. This is a reproduction of a museum piece; a Mescalero Apache war shirt. It is made of deer or antelope leather with natural flaws in the leather. It is supple and wearable. It is decorated with traditional Mescalero iconography. It has what I believe to be hand made/stamped Germen Silver conchos. I do not see a makers mark on the concho's, but I did not remove them to check. It is an XL size. I am 6'2" 190 lbs and it fits me with room to spare. The value of the concho's alone exceed my asking price. The shirt is about an XL. I believe it is buckskin, as I collect war shirts and regalia and I have a pair of buckskin pants I hade made that are very similar. It is heavy buckskin. The chest is 23" from pit to pit. The sleeves are 19" and the sleeve fringe extends to 23". The shirt measures 27" from the top of the back collar to the bottom with another 8" of fringe for a total length of 35".
