This beautiful opal has a moderate to strong play of color which appears to dance out of the surface of the stone. Orange, yellow, red, green, blue, and purple are all colors that you will re see glistening out of the gemstone. Eye clean clarity with a smooth polished surface and underside. Translucent white crystalline base color. Measures 5x3 MM with a weight of 0.13 carats. I purchased this opal in a small lot of high quality rough during the Rock Showplace Gem and jewelry Show in Novi, Michigan. I hand cut this gem into a pear cabochon cut. This opal has an excellent cut grade. This gemstone does not have any fractures or hazing. It is in new perfect condition.
