We nicknamed him the "Odd Funky One"! We observed this Bull from several miles away, carrying only his left side antler on March 24th. Knowing the bull's location allowed me to wait until the elk had moved out of the area the following week, at which point I hiked in and was able to find his matched set of antlers just 111yd apart from each-other! I have documented a short video of the adventure HERE! This Bull is quite unique,! His left pedicle must have been injured earlier in life, causing his left side to grow deformed, without any front tines, and coming out the side of the skull. I also found his previous years left side antler (included in this listing) a few days prior and nearly 6 miles away! The previous years antler had sat out in the sun for a year, and was collected on March 28, 2024. It is B grade. There's no mistaking his character! While not the largest Elk on the mountain, he certainly exhibits some artistic qualities! His right side this year is around .6lb heavier than the left. One of our teammates, Chris, is seen holding the antlers for size comparison. I've also included some photos from the mountain, when these were collected!
