N.E.FROM Sterling Modernist Brooch Chrysoprase Gemstone Denmark Vintage 1960s

Description: Niels Erik (N.E.) From was born in Denmark in1908 and opened his first workshop in 1931. Over the next 40 years he became one of the greats of Danish design. His jewelry is no longer in production, and very collectible. N.E. From died in 1982, and the factory closed in 1990. Today the availability of From's jewelry has become more and more limited. This elegant modernist silver brooch with large cabochon chrysoprase measures approximately 1-3/8" in diameter, and weighs 15 grams. Please note that the white streak on the gemstone is simply a reflection of my light source. I purchased the brooch in the 1960s and am the original owner. I pack and ship with care.
