Description: Seven Original Pen/Ink Sketches NEOCLASSICAL FURNITURE The pen and ink sketches offered in this lot are from a student's portfolio of drawings dating back to the early 20th Century. The seven drawings, on one page of onion-fkin paper, depict an elegant Klismos Chair, a Recamier Sofa, and various other items of Neoclassical furniture, including a center table with winged caryatids. The sheet of paper measures 9" x 8" and is in good condition, as illustrated, but with one very tiny chip to the paper just above the center table. This was included in an artist's sketchbook that I purchased about thirty years ago, probably at Brimfield. My family has been in the antiques and design business since 1955!
