Helpful Hint: Most likely, your old choke cable broke right at the point where it inserts into the lever on the handlebar. Before installing, clean out the switch housing that the choke cable lever sits in and make sure there is no dirt/grit where the cable end sits in the lever. Also, be sure to have the cable free from the carbs when installing it into the switch housing/choke lever so that the cable itself is not twisted during installation.
