Description: In 2005, the Aberdeen-based retailer Hanon launched their own collaborative colorway of the New Balance 990v2 UK-made shoe, opting for a unique color-blocking scheme in neutral tones to highlight golden ‘N’ logos. Limited to just 198 pairs, the collab came complete with certificates of authenticity since co-branding wasn’t an option at the time. Just 1 year after their 1st collaboration with NB, Hanon fell out with this tasteful colorway that was unique to the Hanon shop. Hanon revisited the gold ‘N’ that was found on their prior collabs with NB and implemented that as being the only hint of color to lay on top of the black and cream suede and mesh upper. On 11/22/05 Hanon would release just 198 pairs of 990’s, each with their own certificate of authenticity.
