One is unloading wood at the front while the other pops up out of his hiding spot in the rear. Also has great flashing lights across the top. The Tender is the car that picks up power from the track and sends it forward to power the Locomotive up front and also runs the lights on all the cars that follow. The Tender also houses the speaker for all the sounds that the train makes. This engine and tender have been test run for proper working operation. Don't get stuck buying a dud; all my trains have been hooked up and actually test run on the track for lights and animation. They will have good rolling wheels, no broken connectors or couplers. Any issues or special features will be noted. No surprises. This listing is for the Engine and Tender only as shown in the first two photos.
