Part 1 and Part 2 were a hot topic when they were released, even though they were only available on analog. Part 3 was the last in the series, and featured re-recorded vocals for analog. Nujabes passed away suddenly in 2010, and Part 4 was released. The latter half of the trilogy leading up to the Grand Finale was set to tell a story of new encounters, partings, and then reunions. In the booklet, Shing02 himself wrote: The album includes newly written liner notes that look back on the background behind the creation of each song. The label has carefully selected official remixes of each part, and Dics 2 includes an instrumental version. Circle] will also be released on CD as a bonus track.
