Once set up correctly, this will give a square contact pattern on the drive and coast side of each tooth. We are proud of our ring and pinion lines, and you will be too! * Note: Chrysler 9.25" ring gears may make contact with the OE housing. We recommend you clearance the housing to allow for a 0.020" gap. When running 4.56 or 4.88 ratio gear sets, OE and aftermarket carrier cross shafts will require clearancing in order to install the axle shaft c-clips. When running 3.21 - 4.10/4.11, no clearancing is required! - Remember to properly break in your new gear set!
