The Decoware line was made by the Continental Can Company in the 1950s. They made trays, cake tins, flour/sugar canisters, bread boxes, picnic baskets, wastepaper baskets and the like (all in a variety of patterns; flowers, fruit, wheat, stripes, plaid, stars, etc). The Continental Can Company was started in 1904, survived the Great Depression, went into government work during WWII and was a multi-million dollar business by the 1950s with major factories in New York and Chicago.
