Description: For sale is a vintage metal souvenir building replica model of the New Hampshire Savings Bank in Concord, NH. Compare # 866 in Monumental Miniatures and # 937 in Replica Buildings: A Visual History, which both date it to the 1920s. The Bank was made by the American Art Works.The Bank measures 2-1/4" across the front & rear; 4 1/4" along the sides and is 2-3/4" tall. It is in good to very good vintage condition. The bank has darkened with age, resulting in a nice patina. The trap is intact but there is no key. It is made of lead and quite heavy weighing a little over 1 1/4 lbs. The 'roof' reads: New Hampshire Savings Bank Concord New Hampshire. Around the base it reads: North Main Street / Capitol Street. This is a great old bank with exceptional detail that doesn't come up very often. Shipping includes insurance and signature tracking (to minimize the possibility of loss to 'porch pirates').
