Description: NEW! Handmade Tea Cozy from Ukrainian Designer Gorgeous Olena's Tea cozies and Crafts are each individually make to order. No assembly line, no manufacturing process. Just a unique design, made like no other My "model" tea pot (I brought it from Ukraine) is for 4-6 cups. However I now make a tea cozy for every shape and size. For the base I use a special bulky Chenille Velvet yarn, which I order from the factory in Turkey. For flowers and leaves, I use only 100% cotton thread. To make them look more real, I use variegated colors. Most of this type of thread I order from a family owned company in California, where they hand dye it. My tea cozies do not have any lining frankly. They do not need it, because of the type of yarn I use for the base. I personally design and produce all my tea cozies and use my own patterns.
