It is a blue, green and olive Tartan plaid. It is made of Courtelle fabric which is an acrylic blended fiber that is soft, textured and wool-like. This material has been treated with Scotch Gard to make it stain resistant. It has fast colors, is non-shrinking, machine washable and dryable and doesn't need ironing.
