The miniature head measures10.8mm front to back compared to 14.65mm for a standard latch head. It's also much smaller in width measuring 5.6mm compared to a width of 7.5mm for the standard latch head (measured at top of head). Pictures 2 & 3 show a Standard Latch Head and a Mini Latch Head next to each other for size comparison. Uses standard latch type burs. Excellent for pediatric dentistry. This will fit Midwest brand contra angles and aftermarket contra angles with the 14-tooth crown.
