Montblanc Details:This 2012 Montblanc Writers Edition is dedicated to author Jonathan Swift. The design is inspired by his novel “Gulliver’s Travels.” The barrel is made of precious black resin and decorated with multi-layered inlays indicative of the ropes used to bind Gulliver on the beach of Lilliput island. The cap is formed in the shape of Gulliver’s tricorn and displays the autograph of Jonathan Swift. The clip illustrates the staircase the Lilliputian mayor scaled to speak with Gulliver. Both clip and fittings are platinum-plated. The nib is adorned with an intricate engraving showing the Imperial Lilliputian army trooping between Gulliver’s legs.
