Description: This is a vintage hand made, hand cut, made with original covers shadow box. The shadow box was made in 1990 from original, actual comic covers then and not color copies or reproductions. The comic covers were each cut out by hand with an X-acto blade, then each layer was glued\placed utilizing foam core\spacers and built up to give "depth and a true "3D" look. 10+ covers were used for this shadow box making this a one of a kind rare piece and truly unique. The frame was hand made and the back was stamped with our original Pee Wee Comics logo. The shadow box measures approx 12" x 8" x 4". OCB1Please note: This shadow box is extremely fragile and the front is actual glass. This piece was made in 1988 and the glue\spray mount holding the layers together may have dried up over time. We cannot guarantee the integrity of the shadowbox during delivery. We will "over pack" the shadowbox however we cannot guarantee the layers will not loosen during delivery. The interior can be pulled out and repairs, if needed, can be made.
