The battery pack requires FOUR AAA batteries to operate (AAA batteries not included)The power supply/controller is designed to go into a little pocket inside the bottom of the shirt as shown in the pictures.You can control the sensitivity of the sound activation to acclimate it to your current environment by turning the dial up or down. The LED design can be removed as it is held on with a Velcro backing and then CAREFULLY unplugged prior to washing by hand.
