Description: SEE UPDATES in Bold Italics Like This Fancy Colonial Style Two-Horse Show Carriage With Working Clock: With Faults And Missing Pieces---BUT FIRST LET ME EXPLAIN---Sometimes I buy clocks and I try to make sure they work. Now I'm not a horologist and I never take mechanical clocks apart. but I would take out an old battery andd put in a new one. Bit I always get myself in trouble thinking well I'll find a clock like it and it will have the parts I need to fix this one. Well this clock is a stumper. I have never see one like it and I have only ever found one almost like it online. THIS CLOCK WORKS GREAT. Three months agoI changed the single AA battery and it began to tick away and has ever since. Keeps time oh so good. I really like this clock however it is missing things that should be simple things to find. One of the gold rings is missing. And there are no reins which should pass through the coach driver's But those are little things that can be found. I found and inserted a silver ring in the horse without a ring. It's just about perfect in size and the color is not really noticeable except in really bright light. What I really need is a circular glass face for the clock. (3-1/8" diameter) I saw one on the internet that might fit. $300!! LUCKY FIND. I bought another old clock that was non working to get a 3 in diameter plastic dome glass. It needs a rein to run through the driver's hands and to gold rings on the horses mouths. I have found a curled blue plastic cord that I have cut and attempted to straighten. It's a near perfect fit and with the aid of some soap was able to slide it through the holes in the drivers hands. It is tied in case the buyer wants to replace it with a cord of another color or material.Final photos (1 and 2) revised and are the official sale photos. The clock is 12 in long, and 3-1/4 in wide and stands 9-1/2 in wide. It weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz. It was hand-painted and in some places the paint is thin and you can see white bleeding through but otherwise it looks good.
