The clear plastic shrink wrap has yellowed. A tear in the package seam gave me a peek at the true color of the sheets inside. It is a pure white background. There is a faint smell of moth balls at the tear. This will wash out and lets me know that they were carefully stored away. What makes these sheets collectible? The discontinued blend of cotton and polyester in a percale weave that makes the fabric cool, crisp, and truly no iron. Today's 100% cotton percale is not the same. Percale is a weave, one needs the blended poly cotton fabric to make it special. I have additional vintage linens and other quality merchandise listed separately.
