Description: Sterling silver overlay ring, stamped "sterling", depicting bear and related symbolism. Likely to be Navajo, possibly Hopi. It is approximately size 10 and weighs 15.2 grams. The face of the ring is approximately 3/4" x 5/8" and tapers to the back. It is done in traditional overlay style with the bear being an important symbol in Native American culture, symbolic of protection, personal balance, strength, courage and healing.
