Description: For your consideration is an item I’m really not sure what to call. I have not been able to find anything like it. My first thought is it is a presentation piece of some kind. It is handmade, quality craftsmanship. The U.S. had Marines in Nicaragua in 1928 to supervise their Presidential Election. This could have been presented to someone as a thank you gift. (This is just a thought, nothing to back it up.) It is 21” long, 1.5” at its widest point and 0.75” at its thinnest point. I’m not sure what it is made of, but it is solid. Inset in the large end is a 1928 Nicaraguan coin. This end is also weighted. The other end has a leather strip. The condition is excellent. It shows some wear, but still a wonderful piece.
