Nice Heavy Vintage Cast Iron English Setter Pointer Spaniel Door Stop 15" x 8.5"

Description: Really Nice Vintage/Antique English Setter Pointer Door StopApprox: 15" L x 8.5" H x 4" W (rear paws), 8.5 lbs Great look to this old English Setter or Pointer cast iron Door Stop. Just enough patina and wear to give him great antique display appeal, but overall in really nice shape with 90% plus paint intact. Many sellers identify these as "Hubley", but we do not believe it to be so, the Hubley ones produced in 1930's had more refined detail to fur etc, but were almost the exact size. This model however looks as nice as the Hubley's in our opinion but is priced at under half of what many of those sell for. We are not sure exactly when this was made but we obtained from a high end collector's sale. Doorstops were mostly popular from the 1940's and back and some into the 1950's, so this likely predates that. We photographed from all sides and in slightly different light settings.
