Description: This auction is for a nice vintage Hank Henry Aaron 16" model 125 mini baseball bat that is a Louisville Slugger commemorating his 755th home run on July 20, 1976, when he passed Babe Ruth on the all-time home run list. This was from a time when the H&B or Hillerich and Bradsby logo was still being used on the bats (for regular bats this was prior to 1980 and I'm assuming the switch on mini bats was around the same time). Below Aaron's stamped signature is stamped July 20, 1976 - #755. On the backside of the barrel is a Edy's Grand Ice Cream logo and the Jewel-Osco store logo. Nice condition overall but there are few light dings towards the end of the barrel. There is one ding about a 1/2" to the right and 1/2" up from the last "n" in Aaron. Then there are around 3 small dings on the backside slightly above the last 'o' in Osco and also a couple to the right of that "o". Not cracked, wood, nice readable stamping and nice light color (a bit darker than the similar Aaron bat I listed recently) still on the bat. Hank Aaron played 23 seasons (1954-1976) in the Major Leagues mostly with the Milwaukee Braves and the Atlanta Braves. He finished back with the Milwaukee Brewers for the 1975 and 1976 season. He was inducted to the MLB Hall of Fame in 1982. He was an outfielder and a 25 time All-Star (some years back then there were All-Star games mid-season and at the end of the season). His 755 career home runs was passed by Barry Bonds, but many still consider Hank the "clean" home run leader. He won the 1956 and 1957 NL batting titles. He was on the 1957 Milwaukee Braves World Series championship team. He had a career .305 batting average. USPS Ground Advantage shipping. I have another similar Aaron bat on eBay now also as a Buy it Now. Buy them both and save on shipping!
