Description: For sale is a plate from the famous Kurland service made by KPM in the 20th century . This is one of the best and most popular services of the 20th century and a personal favorite of mine. The plate is decorated in the Decor 73 which has a nice hand painted floral arrangement in the center with three butterflies around it, another butterfly on the edge of the well with a tiny leaf near it to cover a tiny firing flaw and the typical nice turquoise ground rim with raised garlands in gold with a nice gold trim to either side. The piece is in perfect condition with very very minimal wear to the gilding by the edge. The plate is 0.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 7.125 inches and is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as the usual impressed and artist marks of the period.
