She also appeared in the Rex Harrison comedy "The Constant Husband" (1955) and "The Bold and the Brave" with Mickey Rooney (1956). She kept working in film throughout the fifties, starring in the Claudette Colbert period drama "Royal Affairs in Versailles" (1957), the comedy adaptation "Me and the Colonel" (1958) with Danny Kaye and the western "The Jayhawkers" (1959) with Jeff Chandler. She also appeared in "The Scapegoat" (1959) featuring Alec Guinness. During the latter part of her career, she continued to act in the musical comedy "High Time" (1960) with Bing Crosby, "The Day of the Triffids" (1963) and "Don't Bother to Knock" (1964). She also appeared in "Gloria" with Gene Rowlands (1977). Maurey more recently acted in "Chanel Solitaire" (1981) with Marie-France Pisier.
