The fabric is not pulled or stretched during measurements. It is allowed to lay naturally. All measurements are taken with a flat ruler rather than a measuring tape. Sleeve- This measurement is taken from the outside edge of the sleeve while lying face up. It Is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. This measurement will be different from the manufacture’s listed sleeve measurement as I take sleeve measurements from a different location. Pit to Pit- This measurement is the width between one arm pit to the other measured at the seam. This measurement is indication of the chest size. This Is measured with the garment laying face up. Waist- This measurement is taken to provide the buyer with a rough idea of how the garment is tapered. This measurement is taken across the shirt in line with the 2nd button from the bottom. If the garment has no buttons (like a polo or sweater) then the measurement will be taken approximately two thirds of the way down. Length- This measurement is taken with the garment lying face down.
