The latch that holds the battery in place is damaged but the door to the compartment is able to hold the battery in place. (SEE PICTURES 3-5 and 14-15)All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.I was able to charge the battery using an in-house battery charger (NOT INCLUDED) but I cannot guarantee the life of the battery. I was able to insert an in-house SD card (NOT INCLUDED) into the device.I was able to power on the device and use the buttons/dials to navigate through the menus.The lens in need of servicing. At first, the device would give a lens error, but after cleaning and powering the device on and off several times, the lens began to function as it should. However, the lens feels wobbly when it moves and makes a noise that sounds like damaged gears moving. (SEE VIDEO)The display is in poor condition. At certain angles, you can see some light spots on the screen. Due to the dust in the lens, there are some faint dark spots in photos taken by the device. (SEE PICTURE 8) I was able to take a still picture and record a video.I was able to play back the video and hear audio from the device.I was able to review the images taken. (Test photo/video from device can be found above (PICTURE 17))I was able to test the flash and zoom as working.I was able to format the Internal Memory and reset the device. Comes with rechargeable battery (Model: EN-EL19).Shutter Count: This camera does not provide this information according to camerashuttercount.com. (SEE PICTURE 16) The last image/video taken by the device before being reset was titled: 0002.JPG for photo and 0003.MOV for video, but this number cannot be trusted as it can be reset either in the settings of the device or by switching memory cards. The device has been reset to factory default settings.Ports are untested.The device is being sold for repair, refurbishment or reuse by the buyer.
