Description: Refurbished Gameboy Color with a laminated Q5 IPS screen installed. Laminated Q5 IPS screen from Funnyplaying. Screen is 25% larger than the original screen and is integer scaled. New cleaned purple shell and white buttons. Original button membranes used for the d-pad and A/B for better button feel. Start/select use a brand new membrane. Internal pro sound mod done. This bypasses the audio amplifier for headphones, which fully eliminates the buzzing sound that's common with headphones on GBC consoles (especially with IPS screens). This does slightly reduce the volume and bass over headphones. Built in OSD that can be accessed by holding Start + select or holding down above the touch sensor at the top of the console. Menu option values changed using start/select. Scroll between menus by holding select. Multiple brightness levels and scanline options. FRM mode available which helps correctly display transparencies especially on some games. Gameboy color logo can be changed using preset colors or even customized colors. All electrolytic capacitors were replaced and motherboard was cleaned before installation. Game is not included and is just being used for demonstration.
